I have an A20 with the 335 and here is the max I am able to get to plane...
factory hard tanks full = 900 lbs
PnP: (2 x 750s @ 50% full and 1 x 950 mushroom bag 100% full) = 1,700lbs
2 x 400lb v-drive sacks in the bow (in a T shape) = 800lbs
Wedge down = 1,000lbs
So, you're looking at about 4,400lbs of weight if you count the drag from the wedge as 1,000lbs (that's what they say)......and I usually have about 3 people in the boat when we do this.
This will feel nose heavy but when you plane out the wedge pulls the rear down and you level off. Just be careful coming to a stop after your rider falls...feather the throttle as the nose drops and you'll be fine. But you will definitely be plowing on the way back to pick up your rider

It takes about 15 seconds to plane but when it does, man the wake is perfect. Some folks claim that when you reach a certain weight in the A20/22, you no longer need the wedge, as the wake will be plenty steep on its own. I have not been able to do this....but maybe they can speak up.
