I was told not to trailer boat with cover on it driving it will take the shine out of the paint. Any feed back on this. Where should you pull the tubs if you cant use the the tower.

I towed my black boat 3 hours once (it was raining that day) and it did scuff/rub a handful of areas that needed to be buffed out. I will not ever tow with the cover on again.

Dealer told me not tow with it on because it would scuff the boat & good chance it would rip the cover. My brother towed 2 hrs & no rips but it did scuff a bit.

Same thing happened to me. Was raining... never again.

Agree with above, I had bad experience towing my last boat long distance covered, lots of bad scuffs. I will do it in a pinch if the weather is bad. I do know with the axis cover, you must take out the support pole for towing. I didn't know that and am lucky I didn't ruin the cover.

Oh, and you can pull tubes from the rear grab bar, that's why it has the extra little post sticking up in the middle. If you don't know how, I can post a picture of how to hoot the rope.

NO towing with the cover on unless you want to buy a new cover every year. My buddy towed his MB with the cover on and it ripped and blew on to the hood of the car behind him while doing 65 on the freeway. No accident but could have ended up bad.

Wow I tow with the cover on every year for 4-6 hours at a time. Never had a problem. In fact I love this cover compared to others I have owned with the center pole and ratcheted system in back. You can take a lot of slack out preventing SOME scuffing. To me that little buffing is well worth what time I save when it's raining or road grime that gets on you seats. Just my experience...

I trailer with it for about 1.5hr round trip. Never had a problem. Only issue is the zipper for gas fill access doesn't line up.

Behind a friends boat.

I cringe at the thought of seeing an Axis A22 on the lake with a tube behind it.
