Top speed is about 50kms/hr
It's noticeley louder not much but can tell the diff
Just a lot more bite and get up for sure!

Is the 2315 an acme prop?

What prop has the most low down grunt out of the

2079 acme
5 blade cinco
And the 2315

???????

As far as I understand the 2079 is the biggest and baddest prop for more pull power less top end?

I bought mine from there. Spencer said the 2315 is the meanest prop you can get. They don't recommend it to the average joe because it isn't good at all top end. But if all you do is pull up to 30-35 mph then that is the prop for you. He said it would top out right at 40.

There's no way that prop would work for me. That's a loss of 25% of top speed and I cruise at 30mph-35mph.

I have both the Cinco prop and the 1235. I personally feel the 1235 has a tiny bit more holeshot. However, the 1235 is noticeably louder than the Cinco, runs about 300rpms MORE than the Cinco, and transmits more vibration that can be felt on the steering wheel.

Interesting that Spencer says that the 2315 is the baddest prop out there but yet maintains a top speed of 40mph. You have to sacrifice from one end (holeshot) or the other (top speed). I just don't see how you gain a ton more holeshot without killing your topend.

So I just visited with ACME and asked them the big question... WHAT PROP IS IT THAT I NEED???? So if you plan on having close to 4000 LBS ( sacks full and a boat crew ) the 2315 is the machine... If your looking at around 3000 LBS the 2079 is the way to go. Having that extra .5 in diameter makes all the world. So I too am going to go with the 2315. Thanks for everybody's input. SURFS UP!!

i spoke to acme also,

they told me the props are exacerly the same depth and cup size appart from the diameter is different the

2079 is 14.5 inches
2315 is 15 inches

they told me you will get more low down from the 2079 but more top end from the 2315?

this is gettin confusing?

I spoke with a man named Rich ( I believe ) but he really sounded like he new his stuff. In fact he allowed a guy to test out the 2079, 2315, and the 5 blades. The guy had 4000 LBS on the boat and said that nothing could even touch the 2315. Basically if your not going to have close to 4000 LBS on the boat then the 2079 is the way. But if your going to be Loaded all bags and people in the boat then go with the 2315. This has been a confusing conversation . Hope this helps
